Art in the City

at the Art Gallery of Ontario
Friday, April 22, 2016

The UforU group took a field trip to the Art Gallery of Ontario for a day of art and culture! We took a free volunteer-led tour through the gallery, viewing works from artists like Warhol, Rembrandt, and the Group of Seven. Members explored at their own pace and enjoyed the nice day and good company, for a successful day at the Gallery!

Listen to the Podcast

The official UforU podcast, The Pick-Up, showcases our trip to the Art Gallery of Ontario, and discusses the notions of creativity and leaving a legacy. We also sit down with Beverly Carret, Manager of Government and Community Relations at the Art Gallery of Ontario, and her coworker, Melissa Smith, Gallery Guide and Adult Education Officer Co-ordinator, about their various community initiatives at the gallery.
